Welcome to a Member Hospital of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). You’ll see how the modern veterinary hospital offers your pet the best possible health care. Each area highlighted here is subject to rigid standards of quality established by the Association, and each area is important for the overall health care of your pet.
Records
Your pet's own personal health record is kept up-to-date in the AAHA Member Hospital. It contains a complete medical and surgical history of your pet and is an important guide for present and future veterinary care.
Examination
The exam room is where your veterinarian evaluates your pet’s health. In AAHA Member Hospitals, this room is used exclusively for this purpose providing an extra measure of protection for your pet.
Surgery
If your pet requires surgery, the first step is a preanesthetic examination. AAHA
Member Hospitals use gas anesthesia machines, which provide a safe sleep. Most dental work is also done under a general anesthetic.
In AAHA Member Hospitals, surgery is performed in specialized rooms with proper lighting, aseptic procedures, and easy access to drugs and equipment so that your pet gets the best surgical care.
Emergency Service
Your pet is as susceptible to accident or sudden illness as you are. For this reason, AAHA Member Hospitals offer a 24-hour emergency service. You can call someone, anytime, should your pet require immediate care.
